By the power of the Holy Spirit, we the congregation of St. John’s Lutheran Church is making disciples of Jesus Christ who are connecting to the everlasting love of Jesus, growing in faith, nurturing one another in fellowship, and actively sharing the joy.

Where...

People are Connecting to Jesus through worship, fellowship, study and service opportunities that encourage a personal relationship with Christ.

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.     John 17:3

People are Growing in their faith on a lifelong journey of knowing God more closely through His Word and prayer.

If anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him.
This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him
must walk as Jesus did.    1 John 2:5-6

People are Nurturing one another in Fellowship, serving God by using His gifts to serve others.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.    1 Peter 4:10

People are Sharing the Joy,by making the most of every opportunity to share God’s grace in words and action.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.    Colossians 4:2-6

We can and will provide you with the community and the resources for you to grow in that relationship, but we cannot do that for you. Spiritual growth and the development of one’s faith is an intentional journey where one responds to God’s grace and has the opportunity to follow Jesus Christ in the fellowship of the Church. We are all on this journey of faith together. The pastor, staff and lay leaders of St. John’s invite you to share in this journey.
