

Rev. Paul W. Richter, Pastor
Paul Richter has been St. John’s pastor since March of 1987. Prior to that, he served suburban congregations near Cleveland, Ohio and New York City. His theological education was completed at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis after he graduated from Concordia Senior College in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Concordia Junior College in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During his vicarage at a congregation in Queens, New York, Pastor met Susan who was a member there. They were married shortly after Pastor graduated from the seminary and Susan graduated from nursing school. Pastor and Susan have four grown daughters, three great sons-in-law and a grandchild on the way.

Tina Jasion, Director of Christian Outreach
Tina came to faith in Christ in her twenties and pursued a growing desire to know and serve God. She worked as an accountant and business owner for fifteen years and felt an increasing calling to ministry. Tina completed the Training Leaders for Ministry program through the Mission Training Center in Bronxville New York. She earned a Masters of Christian Outreach degree from Concordia University in St. Paul in 2006 and is currently serving as the Director of Christian Outreach at St. John's Lutheran Church in Glen Arm, Maryland and the Program Director for the Mission Development Academy of the Southeastern District LCMS. Her passion is in sharing God's grace with others that they may come to know the Lord and helping others do the same. Tina has been married to Scott Jasion since 1983; they have two grown sons and a Labrador retriever. For fun, she enjoys skiing in the winter and kayaking in the summer.

Carol Walker, Contemporary Music and Handbell Director
Carol has a passion for church music, believing that music connects people with the love of God in powerful ways. She has over 40 years of experience in church music, 28 of which have been spent at St. John’s! Carol began as organist and choir director in 1982, initiated the handbell program in 1990, the children’s choir in 1994, and the Praise Team for Contemporary Worship in 2003. She currently directs the Genesis Ringers (youth handbells), The Bells of Blenheim (adult handbells), and The New Song Service Praise Team for Contemporary Worship. Carol received a B.S. in Music Education with a major in organ from Gettysburg College and has also taught vocal music in elementary through high school. She is married to her husband Ron (her help mate in her church work journey), has a son Mark, daughter-in-law Jodi, three grandchildren, and a daughter Erin, who went to be with Jesus in 2002.
